The Presidente carries the aged Don Carlos blend at 6 1/2 by 50, the full statesman format. The larger ring softens the edges and lets the sweetness lead, cocoa and cedar over that unmistakable old-tobacco depth, for close to two hours. This is the Don Carlos for the head of the table. Boxes of 25 age gracefully if you can leave them alone.
