Shipping Policy & State Restrictions
Every order ships from our licensed tobacco retail store at 1523 E 7th Ave in Tampa's Ybor City. Here is exactly where we can ship and the rules we follow.
Adults 21+ only
We sell tobacco only to adults 21 years of age or older. Every order is age-verified before it ships: checkout requires a date of birth showing you are at least 21. In states that require it — including California and Delaware — the carrier also collects the signature of an adult 21 or older at delivery and cannot leave the package at the door.
States we cannot ship to
The following states prohibit shipping tobacco products directly to consumers. We comply fully, and our checkout will not accept a shipping address in:
- Utah: internet, phone and mail-order tobacco sales to consumers are prohibited; sales are allowed only to state-licensed persons.
- South Dakota: state law prohibits delivery sales of tobacco products to consumers.
- Hawaii: state law makes it a criminal offense to ship tobacco products to anyone who does not hold a Hawaii tobacco license.
If you live in one of these states, we are genuinely sorry; the restriction is the state's, not ours. You are always welcome at any of our four store locations.
Flavored tobacco restrictions
Massachusetts bans the sale of flavored tobacco products. Flavored and infused cigars (for example, our Java line and other sweetened or infused products) cannot be shipped to Massachusetts addresses. Traditional, non-flavored premium cigars ship to Massachusetts normally. Checkout will flag any affected items automatically.
Adult signature states
Some states, including California and Delaware, specifically require the signature of a person 21 or older at delivery. Plan for someone of age to be available when your package arrives; carriers cannot leave tobacco shipments at the door in these states.
How our shipments work
- All orders ship from our licensed tobacco retail store: King Corona Cigar Lounge, 1523 E 7th Ave, Tampa, FL 33605.
- Shipping is free on orders over $99; a $9.99 flat rate applies below that.
- Cigars ship fresh from our walk-in humidor, protected for transit.
- We ship only within the United States. We do not ship internationally or to U.S. territories at this time.
Taxes
Applicable taxes are handled per the laws of the destination state. Some states impose tobacco excise or use taxes on purchases their residents make from out-of-state retailers; where a state requires us to collect or report, we comply.
